I don’t know about you but I’ve recently found identifying random LEGO minifigures an absolute nightmare. Especially if there is a big AFOL dark age blanking out your knowledge (20 years for me!). I’ve tried the usual Bricklink and Brickset, but with minifigures the search parameters don’t really work if you’re not sure what you’re searching for in the first place.
Well thanks to a clever AFOL we finally have a solution and while simple seems to work perfectly in trying to pin down that elusive minifigure identification. Goatleg allows you to either select various torso colour parameters (torso/arm/hand) or to search via colour/pattern combination. Once you’ve locked in the search parameters the website then links to Bricklink with results of the search.
This system allowed me to quickly identify two minifigures I recently found in a job lot garage sale LEGO purchase.
I hope you find Goatleg as useful as I have and this will definitely be making my bookmark ribbon!
