LEGO IDEAS – FIRST 2016 REVIEW WINNER – OLD FISHING STORE

The results are in for the first 2016 review of LEGO Ideas and the winner is – OLD FISHING STORE by RobenAnne.

I’ve been a massive fan of RobernAnn’s work and the Old fishing Store the first of a series of LEGO old fishing village modules that they have over on LEGO Ideas (example – Boat Repair Shop). In its current form the set consists of 2160 parts, has three floors (store, office and lookout) and comes with three minifigures.

I have to admit the approval has come as a surprise and beat stiff competition against the likes of fan favourites such as Johnny 5. Traditionally LEGO has appeared to shy away from the larger sets, but that’s why I love LEGO Ideas, just when you think you understand LEGO’s habits they go and blow it out of the water – Awesome!

Old Fishing Store was up against the following:

Congratulations again to RobenAnn and look forward to grabbing one of these bad boys when they hit our shelves.

Happy Building!
