The LEGO Store Modular Version is the fourth project to hit the magical 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas and make it through to the 1st 2017 review panel. For those who don’t know what or how this works refer to my previous blog on LEGO Ideas.
The project is designed by Kashaka is based on the standard modular format 32 x 32 stud base plate and tailored to minifigure scale. The LEGO shop contains all the standard elements we’ve come to love – Pick-a-Brick wall, open plan design and characteristic colour scheme. All package into a classical architecture that will feel at home with other official LEGO modular buildings. One other unique point I love is the additional detail on the rear of the building (normally neglected) showing the warehouse receiving section.
This one is a personal favorite of mine and I’m very happy this one made it though to review and fingers crossed it makes it to the shop shelves! I would easily part with my cash to add this to my modular series.
Remember to support all those aspiring LEGO builders out there on LEGO Ideas.
