LEGO IDEAS – “SHIP IN A BOTTLE, THE FLAGSHIP LEVIATHAN” HITS 10,000 SUPPORTERS

LEGO Ideas has gone nuts in the last few days with two new ideas hitting the magical 10,000 supporters. This particular idea is really going to pull on the nostalgia strings either as an older AFOL or a wee youngest like me (well sort of young!) who will remember their Dads and Grandads dusty collection. Ship in a Bottle, The Flagship Leviathan is the tenth project to hit the magical 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas and make it through to the 1st 2017 review panel (likely to be the last this year). For those who don’t know what or how this works refer to my previous blog on LEGO Ideas.

The model is the brainchild of JackSadovich77 and is designed around the age old art of crafting a replica vessel and carefully placing inside a bottle and lifting the sails. What’s also impressive is this idea has galvanised the LEGO community and hit the 10,000 supporter mark in just a little over a month!

The model features a cleverly designed bottle, “Ye Olde Stand”, and an awesomely detailed micro scale ship.

I love the unique idea and wish the designing all the best with the upcoming review panel. It joins a strong bunch of ideas, so will be interesting to see if LEGO approves multiple ideas out of this group.

Remember to support all those aspiring LEGO builders out there on LEGO Ideas.

Happy Building!
