LEGO IDEAS – “VINTAGE TRAM” HITS 10,000 SUPPORTERS

LEGO IDEAS – “VINTAGE TRAM” HITS 10,000 SUPPORTERS

From the creative genius behind “Beatles Yellow Submarine” kevinszeto has brought us another cool little project. This time round we have a well designed vintage tram which would look right at home in a Melbourne or San Francisco diorama MOC (though actually based on Porto’s trams in Portugal). Vintage Tram is the eighth project to hit the magical 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas and make it through to the 1st 2017 review panel. For those who don’t know what or how this works refer to my previous blog on LEGO Ideas.

The model features a removable top for easy access to the passenger carriage, which accommodates up to 8 sitting passengers. The driver cab features a controls panel, 2 levers, as well as a fire extinguisher (see view with door removed). The total model is made up of 664 pieces and contains some minifgures.

It will be interesting to see how this one tracks and hopefully if it gets through the review panel the model will be redesigned to accommodate power functions.

Remember to support all those aspiring LEGO builders out there on LEGO Ideas.

Happy Building!
