LEGO PLANET CREW COOKING UP A GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT

The team over at LEGO Planet Crew are cooking up a Guinness World Record attempt at Liverpool’s One Shopping Centre on Paradise Street 9:00 am tomorrow. I think it’s fair to say the attempt will help push LEGO Planet Crew’s vision of driving The LEGO Group to a greener and sustainable future where all kids have access to play.

The teaser video below suggests it may have something to do with the now iconic Wind Turbines that scatter various offshore locations throughout Europe and worldwide.

In keeping with the fun event planned tomorrow the crew have also arranged a free Make & Take event from 3:00-8:00pm at the LEGO Certified Store. If like me you’re not in Liverpool tomorrow (i.e. the other side of the planet), never fear you can still follow online via the official hashtag #LEGOPlanetCrew or join in the fun with your children in the LEGO Life app. For more information on the event head over to the LEGO Planet Website and check out the wind power tab.

Have fun and if you do make it to the event would love to hear how it goes – Here’s to The LEGO Group hitting 100% renewables by 2020!

Happy Building!
