It’s ironic that I was sitting with my morning coffee today having a discussion with my wife about buying some new summer T-shirts. Straight off the bat she looked at me and said “no more LEGO T-Shirts your becoming obsessed” which I responded with “don’t worry Uniqlo haven’t released any new designs since wave 3” Well to the horror of my wife when I checked the Australian Uniqlo website low and behold a new 60th Anniversary wave was sitting there shouting buy me!
Disclaimer – they only have the kids sizing up so far, but keep an eye out for adult sizing in the coming weeks.
I’ve said it before I think Uniqlo are doing a great job with the LEGO licence. The designs are going from strength to strength and they really honor the playful creativeness of the LEGO product while also presenting some surprisingly classy designs that I’ve happily (wife reluctantly agrees) worn during smarter occasions. As the name would suggest the designs highlight some of the key messages, logos and marketing from LEGO over the last 60 years.
